2) What data do we process?
Depending on usage, we process in particular:
a) Website & usage data
IP address, date/time, log files, browser/device information, referrer URL, pages visited.
b) Customer account & contact
Name, email address, phone number, address, account and communication details (e.g. inquiries via email/phone/form).
c) Order & contract data (sales, rentals, services, subscriptions)
Ordered products, delivery/invoice data, booking data (rental device, rental period), service/subscription data (service, dates, duration, interval), support and processing information.
d) Payment/transaction data
Payment status, transaction references, and billing information. Full payment data (e.g., card/account details) is usually processed directly by the payment service provider.
e) Deposit/Damage/Return Information (Rental)
Information on the deposit (e.g. amount, status), return/condition information, and, if applicable, documentation of damage/missing accessories/delays.
f) Marketing data (only if permitted)
Newsletter registration data (if used) and – only with consent – analysis/marketing data (see Cookies).
3) Purposes & Legal Basis
We only process personal data if there is a legal basis for doing so:
a) Contract performance / pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR)
Processing of orders and bookings, delivery/collection, execution of rental and service work, subscription management, customer support.
b) Legal obligation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR)
Fulfillment of tax and commercial law obligations (e.g., invoicing, accounting, record keeping).
c) Legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR)
IT security, abuse/fraud prevention, technical stability/error analysis, quality improvement, enforcement/defense of legal claims (e.g. in case of damage to rented equipment).
d) Consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR)
Use of non-essential cookies/tracking (analysis/marketing) and, where applicable, newsletters/marketing, provided consent is required. Consent can be revoked at any time (see section 8).

c) Shipping/logistics/collection service providers
Service provider for delivery, collection and status/appointment information (name, address, contact, package/booking details).
d) Service provider for customer communication / support
E.g., email/support systems, if used, for processing inquiries and contract management.
e) Analytics/marketing service providers (only with consent)

f) Service partner (provision of services)
Partners who provide on-site services. We only share the information necessary for this purpose (e.g., name, address, contact details, service, date, and instructions).
g) OVDV BV (management of rental equipment)
OVDV BV may receive necessary data for the operational management and processing of rental equipment (e.g. booking/appointment/equipment information, return/condition information, processing details).
Clarification of roles (partner/OVDV BV): Depending on the specific arrangement, partners/OVDV BV act either as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR – processing only on instructions) or as independent controllers (if they determine the purposes and means themselves). We ensure appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards in each case.
6) Data transfers outside the EU/EEA (third countries)
When we use service providers that process data outside the EU/EEA, we secure appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses) where necessary and implement additional protective measures. Details can be found in the consent tool or in the provider information.
